Before you start

Make sure you've completed these first:

Enable gift card redemptions for your child so they can cash in chore points for brands they actually want — no bank account or debit card setup required.

Before You Start

📝

You must have a funded family rewards pool before kids can redeem. See How to Add a Funding Source and Fund the Rewards Pool.

Enabling Redemptions

Gift card redemptions are available automatically once the family rewards pool has a balance. No per-child card setup is needed.

Fund the rewards pool

Add money to the family rewards pool from your payment method. This is the budget kids draw from when they redeem.

Kids earn points

Each completed chore adds points to the child's balance. 1 point = $0.01.

Child taps Redeem

Once they have at least 500 points ($5.00), the Redeem button appears on their balance card.

Pick an amount and a brand

They choose $5, $10, or $25 — then pick from 1,000+ gift card brands.
